Agustín Maciá Barber

Agustín has a degree in Technical Engineering in Information Systems (Polytechnic University of Madrid) and as a Technical Specialist for Enterprise IT (CEU San Pablo of Madrid). Agustín has more than 12 years of experience in the IT sector in which he has participated in different business projects and their development.

Agustín is founder of NUUBO in november of 2005, currently is board member, Executive Partner, Executive Vicepresident y CTO de NUUBO, leading the design, production and marketing of biometric solutions based on Bioengineering, electronics, web software development and mobile and textile intelligent as main mission of the company.

He has led the development of internet broadband in Spain as a product manager at ONO (Cableuropea, SAU), one of the main communication service companies offering integrated services through broadband technology for residential and enterprise markets.

His career developed in the sector of information and communication technologies, at companies such as META4, VISUALGIS ENGINEERING, ROBOTICS and LOGIC CONTROL. In 1997, Agustín was Co-founder of Sip25 (internet company) and was awarded as “Young entrepreneur in the community of Madrid” and was a finalist in the European addition of “Young European Entrepreneur” for Sip25 company project., in addition to a degree as an Industrial Designer (CDC of Madrid) and obtained an IE Business School NETI (through a program called Escuela Banespyme-Orange VII).
